TB 117标准概述：
- 该标准已经有30年的使用时间，由于该标准有较大的实用价值，所以准备完成部分补充后在全美国推广。
- TB117是在充分研究火灾发生原因后，从实际出发而制定的，更为科学。其测试火源是香烟焖烧测试、模仿火柴点燃测试及模仿一定量的报纸点燃测试，与实际泡沫起火场景相符。
- 随着家具制品出口量的增加，采用该标准可以避免由于技术法规的不同引起的技术贸易壁垒。
TB 117适用范围：
针对根据加州TB117标准规定内列明的软垫家具的弹性填充材料。
TB 117标准解析：
- 弹性填充材料香烟测试：每个样品的炭化尺度应接近于0.1英寸
- 弹性填充材料闷燃测试
